I’m selling a beautiful half silver set of Strathmore bagpipes. This set includes the drones, wooden chanter with large silver sole and a medium Canmore bag in good working order. This pipe has a beautiful rich and full sound and the drones are very steady once locked in. The mouthpiece bulb has a small crack in it which prevents it from staying secure on the blowpipe so I’ve installed a basic poly one, there’s a small chip in one of the imitation ivory mounts and 2 small splits in the blowpipe stock that don’t go through and are still airtight. Murray Henderson says all of these are easily rectified. This pipe has been a workhorse for me and I’ve had a ton of complements on them through the years at competitions and events that I’ve played. All the silver numbers are matching and this pipe is in playing condition out of the box. This pipe in brand new condition would easily sell for over $4000 or more with all of the silver.
