These are very slightly smaller than full sized pipes. The length of sections are 0.2cm to 2.8cm shorter than full sized pipes, and more narrow in the bore. I have a chart comparing my Inverans to these Lawries for the lengths, but cannot upload a .txt file here. If interested I can email it to you. Dated 1914- to 1918 as there are three beads on the short neck of the tenors. The ferrules are a mix of tapered and straight. Some ferrules also have scribe lines where some don’t.
The blowpipe looks to be early Robertson also made of Coccus. No cracks or damage.
The coccus stocks and drones are in super shape. No chips or cracks. They basically look new. Original stocks and sticks. Super smooth finish inside the drones and stocks. I play these a few times a week. I have oiled these and re-hemped this year. The ring caps are made of celluloid material. The bushes are marine ivory. Original chanter included, and the sole is celluloid. No carving on the chanter, though the varnish is worn off in spots. Also included are a poly MacLellan chanter and another by Blue MacMurchie . They were new in 2022. New this year Ezdrone reeds included. About 30 hours playing time on the reeds. The bag is not included.
