I think I have something special to sell. A Geert Lejeune Pastoral Pipes set in the key of D. (African Blackwood).
I should be able to safely ship worldwide. But be aware that there will be shipping costs added + possibly additional costs for package insurance for this amount of money. Contact me and I’ll try to calculate costs for you. I have experience shipping packages like this, because my family lives in Asia. So I do it all the time.
My original goal in buying these pipes was to combine them with my singing. Although the key and the drone configuration is perfect for my voice, the chanter is just too loud. And it just doesn’t work as good as I hoped. This is my main reason for selling. Would love to keep them, but as I already have a great set of small pipes which I play and sing with, I feel like these should belong to someone else.
The set comes ready to play. I can include the case on the pictures if you want (original saxophone bag, very nice bag). It also comes with some spare reeds. Check out the photos.
Unfortunately I don’t really have a video recording to share. As I didn’t really master the chanter myself, coming from Scottish small pipes it’s quite a different feeling. But the chanter does allow for traditional fingering as well as Scottish/smallpipes style fingering. But on YouTube there’s some pictures of Geert Lejeune’s Pastoral Pipes!
