This is a classic R.G. Lawrie practice chanter, with a natural sole and nickel ferrule. There appear to be no cracks or splits. This chanter has not been played more than a few minutes in many years. It has a lovely sound.
There is some discolouration on the ferrule. Probably it would come off with buffing. The mouthpiece is all one piece, no plastic tip.
This is a classic Lawrie chanter—a real collector’s piece.
