I am the original owner of these wonderful Inverans, bought from PM Brian Donaldson in 2010. Inverans were derived from the shop of J. Tweedie, and Sinclair pipes.
The German silver ferrules were added in 2012 by Murray Huggins of Colin Kyo pipes.
Imitation ivory, no real Ivory to worry about. Tiny tiny scratches, but you would spend a lot of time looking for them. These pipes have always been cared for.
The pipes have a very full, big sound that fill a room with lovely over tones . If in a band setting, they will stand out in the wonderful tonal quality and quantity. The drones currently have ezdrone reeds, and can tune just above the hemp line from 475 to 492 by only the adjustment of the drone reed tuning screws.
Includes original Inveran chanter. Pitches at 490. No carving. Comparable size as Kyo and Infinity chanters.
In mint condition, but for a chip in the imitation mount of the blowpipe. The drone reed seats are threaded, which I think all pipes should have!
