For auction – prototype sheepskin pipe bag by MacKillop Bagpipe Co.! Comes with grommets for the drones and blowpipe, as well as a zipper for internal access. Chanter stock would require traditional tie-in (extra leather for welt support included, as well as lubricant for the zipper). This has all the benefits of a sheepskin bag with the convenience of a modern synthetic (except for the chanter stock)! Riveted welt (instead of stitched).
As this is a prototype bag design, I cannot know if the grommets will hold up long term and I cannot test the bag for airtightness without tying it in (which would make it a used bag). Given these potential issues, the initial bidding price is lower than a traditional sheepskin bag and there are no returns or refunds. I do believe it is a solid design, but again, I have not personally tested it.
Bag will also require seasoning (Hardie’s airtight recommended).
