A nice older base top made from the Thow shop. It has all the attributes of David Thow from the early 1900’s. Original finish that shows some signs of age in the finish, but no cracks or chips, but a very well made base top. No cracks or anything to detract it from immediate use. Closed ferrule, thick with no hallmarks. Please check your bore size, this is a smaller bore than my other pipes by .5 mm
Has pins on the ferrule and on the cap.
Black Wood, nickle silver and ivory bushing.
6 combs per inch, flat combs.
16.5 mm bore, 30.4cm long.
Not enough natural material to require a Cities form. Only the bushings are natural material.
