Unique Dunbar bagpipes. Beautiful wood grain and color. I originally believed them to be Cocobolo, But had Rick at Dunbar inspect pictures and he believes they are blackwood. He informed me that Blackwood was difficult to come by in the 80s and 90s and the more contrasting grain was what they could acquire. Plain turned with button mounts and regimental tops. Imitation bushings and nickel ferrules. Rick confirmed they were made in the late 80s or early 90s right after Dunbar began to make pipes full time. They would have been Turned by Jack Dunbar himself. The poly Dunbar chanter is a bit newer and is stamped 98. Includes hide bag, black cords, Macbeth tartan cover, and a set of cane drone reads. The bag will need to be seasoned. Shipping to be paid by buyer.
