Price has dropped accordingly, as any practice chanter will work with Chris Apps Cane PC reeds. I tested it on a proper practice chanter and the pitch was fine. This set is custom-made with Ironwood drones and chanter, and Bloodwood drone tops. The result is sweet and mellow sounding. The maker price was US$1400 new.
