I am selling my McCallum Ceol chanter. This is the chanter that came with my MacRae’s when I got them new, and I have played this chanter on and off for the better part of a year. It pitches between 480 and 486, depending on the weather and relative humidity.
Comfortable under the hands and very accepting of many types of reeds, though I’ve had success with the Shepherd moulded reeds. It has a nice bright sound.
Asking $75 even for this chanter. Buyer pays shipping. Would prefer to keep the sale to the lower 48 please.
