For sale is a 1952 military issue Royal Scots Hunting Stewart tartan kilt. Original makers label appears to says it was for someone between 5’ 11 and 6’. Waste appears to have been marked as a 32”. It looks as if someone has opened. The fold over is at the hems to widen it slightly, so it’s probably closer to 34. Overall very good condition. A couple small muffles noted in some of the pleat folds but very minor. Does have two pencil and size repairs in the front panel, though which is unfortunate. These could possibly be redone to improve their appearance with magic stitching. Otherwise the kilt would be good for display or reenactment purposes is it still quite solid and has lots of life and it. Price reflects the minor damage and alterations. Otherwise this kilt could easily sell for $300-400 as these old military kilts are highly sought after.
