This is an early 1900s Lawrie bagpipe. Flat combed with natural mounts and nickel ferrules and caps. I’m not sure of the wood at all. It is not cocuswood or ABW. The grain is too open to be either although it might be an ebony. The mounts are not original to the set but are indeed RG Lawrie mounts. Every piece ran straight and there are no cracks present. I played this bagpipe and it is outstanding. email me for more pictures. Asking $2,000 but will consider offers.
