Frankenstein Pipe for sale.
These pipes started out as a set of 1955 Henderson bagpipes. Like is was with the old army pipes, parts were swapped out for replacement from one to another, when needed in a pinch. As far as I know most of these parts are Henderson parts from different years around the 50s.
There is a new, unused splitstock to replace the missing blowpipe stock and there is a bendy plastic blowpipe with little use to replace the missing original blowpipe.
The bores on this pipe have been reamed to a uniform vintage Henderson spec and the fittings have all been replaced with premium imitation by Murray Huggins. Nickel ferrules, some original, some replacements. It has been recently refurbished. This pipe has a very nice vintage Henderson sound. Big drones. Very nice harmonics. It looks great too.
