rare Gurkha pipe band cassette recording

Pipes and Drums of the 1st Bn., 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles.  Rare 1983 Cassette tape recording, bought at the national Army Museum in London. Polyphonic label.  17 medleys across two sides,  mostly traditional Scottish pipe band tunes and one unique Nepalese tune.  PM Meharman Tamang, BEM.  Drum Major Sgt. Pahalman Limbu. Recordings of Gurkha bands are extremely rare.  This cassette was recorded shortly after the battalion returned from active duty in the Falklands War.
