For sale are my beloved set of Maclellan cocobolo bagpipes with original profile. These have cast silver Celtic Cross ferrules, tuning slides, ring caps and actual ivory mounts (the pre cities ivory I actually bought from Dave Atherton and Roddy made the mounts for these pipes). I originally purchased these about 2005 and they are in excellent shape (no know flaws)! These pipes come with a Ross canister system, Maddog bagpipe case, cover and cords. There is a drone shield with a scripture verse on the bass drone you may want or want to change. I’ve used many drone reeds with these and they all sound excellent so I won’t include a set of drone reeds or chanter since they are of personal preference.
There are two reasons I’m selling these: I recently had some heart issues that make playing a bit more difficult and I’m also going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and I’m hoping the sale will help with financing the trip! If you have any more questions feel free to ask!!
