I have been told this is the only Musette de Cour made by David Quinn. I am selling it for a friend. The set is in great cosmetic condition but not currently operating and is for sale as-is.
Both chanters and shuttle drone assembly are beautifully crafted and in excellent condition. All chanter keys work well (6 keys on each chanter). I put a reed from a Northumbrian Smallpipe in the main chanter to test it and it played fine, considering the reed was not exactly the right kind.
The bellows are in good cosmetic condition but will need conditioning as they leak some air and will need an arm strap and belt. Also, the bellows adapter plug may need to be changed as it is not the same size as the one coming from the blowpipe tube.
The shuttle drone reeds are all present and seem to work but I was not able to test the functionality of the drones.
The case is solid and closes fine, but the lining on the inside bottom and sides is missing.
