I have for sale my Tascam DR-60d MKII sound recorder. This is a great recorder for bagpipes because it has four individual inputs. I am also including 3 microphones: a Shure SM57, and two Rode M5’s.
The SM57 is a high dynamic microphone, which means it is perfect for the decibel output of a bagpipe chanter. It is also nearly indestructible, a very durable microphone indeed.
The Rode M5’s are great for drone sound; if you set them up in an X/Y orientation they get a full, broad range of sound.
I have recorded myself and a lot of other pipers with this gear. I am selling it because those days are now behind me and I don’t really record anymore.
