A package of vintage Lawrie chanters, a blackwood pipe chanter with a Catalin sole. The chanter is in good shape with no signs of carving. Also, an interesting Lawrie practice chanter. The top section is from the 1970’s, but the bottom section is quite a bit older. I have a documented 1922 Lawrie practice chanter, and the profile is almost identical. This practice chanter bottom has the Royal Warrant stamp so probably 30’s/40’s. Included is a cleaning brush and a couple of reeds, one is cane with the box and the pipe chanter reed is in the packing from the original purchase.
