Lovely stand of blackwood bagpipes made by R. G. Lawrie, Glasgow. The pipes are fully combed and beaded with Caitlin ferrules, projection mounts, ring caps and bushings. For a set of this vintage, early 60’s, there are very few nicks, the mounts are in great shape, and the bores are arrow straight. A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) will be included in the sale.
The pipes come with a Bannatyne zippered synthetic pipe bag (Medium), Shepherd Drone Enhancers, Moose Valve, Ezeedrone Drone Reeds, Soutar pipe chanter reed (Easy), original Blackwood pipe chanter (displays the Royal Warrant), a polypenco Lawrie pipe chanter, zippered bag cover (from bagpipecovers.com), matching cords and a lovely old pipe case.
