Doug Macpherson half silver imitation ivory bagpipes sticks and stocks for sale. Exceptional set of pipes, both tonally & aesthetically made by a true artisan of the trade. Not only has the pipes been made by a master of the trade the Antique look silver ware was also made by the axceptional silversmith David Davise. Aside from Doug being an excellent maker to deal with, his profiling, combing, beading, finish and above all tone are first rate. In particular they have low air consumption which makes them a pleasure to play and yet they don’t lack in the volume and power department. I have had success with a variety of drone reeds. I’m currently using ezeedrone reeds and can’t complain.
