A scarce early complete collection comprising the Tutor (40 pages) and eight complete volumes .
The Tutor: Possibly the scarce second edition [1910] of the 1901 first edition. The third edition has Revised Edition 1923 above the title. Cannon (A Bibliography of Pipe Music) notes that he,
‘ .has not come across an intermediate edition between 1 and 3 but evidently there were such..’ (p.204).
By the 4th edition the publishing was by Paterson’s Publications Ltd.

Book 8: ‘Special War Memorial Number 1914-1918’. First edition. Scarce. Publisher Paterson, Sons and Co corresponds with Cannon for the First edition. Published circa 1925.
The collection was probably bound around 1925 with a name and date on the front endpaper,’ John Couper, 1925.’
In half leather binding with rubs and wear to spine. Interior in generally very good condition with some spotting in places. The thickness of the volume has weakened the spine a little, a few pages are sitting loose inside but no loss. Some sections are pulling on the spine hinge and sitting proud. But a very good collection in scarce early format.
Tutor xii, 40 pages. Books: 48, 45, 46, 44, 46, 46, 46, 46 pages.
