2024 DNV3 Naill Bagpipe for sale. I purchased this set from Henderson Imports last year (purchase date 11/29/24). They are an excellent set of Naills with very high craftsmanship and quality. Wood is completely straight and the bores are true and have a polished sheen on the inside. Blowpipe and blowpipe stock have been oiled 3x this season to reduce likelihood of cracking. No cracks anywhere and no chipped mounts or ferrules. Only 1 minor chipped comb on the top section of the bass (pictured). The sound of these drones is fascinating, depending on the drones reeds you can get a large, brash sound for a pipe band, or a full sweet sound for solos, or anything in between.

As I mentioned, you can get very different sound depending on the reeds used. The piobaireachd recordings were made using full Redwood reeds. Here are four recordings with different set ups:

Pipes are for sale as sticks with the blowpipe. The blowpipe was shortened by Henderson’s to 4” from the bottom of the mouthpiece to the bottom of the projecting mount. Additional items can be included if you wish. I will include an unused Bannatyne Hybrid bag (Willie Mac size) for an addition $200. A new set of DNV3 sticks on G1 is selling for $1500, and that doesn’t include the tariff (+10%) or shipping from the UK, or wait time in customs. This set was played in a top Grade 2 pipe band this year and was used in competition in a G3 band just last week. All the joints are tightly sealed and the pipe is ready to go. The pipe will be at Stone Mountain Highland Games if you wish to give it a blow.
