These two sets are being sold as a pair. Both sets are Blackwood with plastic mounts. They both appear to be crack-free.
These two sets of miniature bagpipes are quite curious. They have been set-up with ezee drone smallpipe drone reeds and long poly dunbar chanters. It is our best guess that these play in B-flat or thereabouts.
The make and era of these pipes is up for debate. The two sets look similar, but are likely not the same brand. If they are the same brand, they are of a different era. some have speculated that these might have been made by MacPherson or Sinclair, but we cannot conclusively say what make they are. Our best guess is that they are from the 1950s/1960s.
Both sets of pipes have L&M leather bags tied on.
These pipes will need some work and might be considered more of a collectors item than a practical instrument. That said, these pipes were meant to be played. With some TLC and patience could be utilized the same as any mouthblown smallpipe.
These pipes are priced to sell and come as-is. $700 USD for the pair.
