I am selling my Blackwood Kintyre Chanter, recognized the world over by its pipe chanter finger-holes and its (unfortunately underdesigned) nickel ferrule.
Reason for sale is because I’m going through another lull in my piping and while I decide whether or not its worth continuing, I’m selling some of my extra things that I haven’t used in a while.
This is a great chanter and I really like it, it has helped my fingering and I was playing pipes more confidently and competently while I was practicing regularly on this chanter.
Asking $200 BEFORE shipping, shipping will be at the buyers expense. The reason for the lower price is because I actually did throw away the water trap that was inside the PC top. I found that it did not do a great job of removing moisture, but in fact did the opposite for me. The moisture would develop more rapidly with the MCS in it, so I chucked it.
