This one is a bit of a mystery, as there is no maker’s mark and I don’t recognize the profile of the drones. The pipes appear to be African Blackwood with natural ivory mounts and ferrules, and nickel slides. There are no visible cracks, just some discoloration and small chips in the ivory typical of a well-used instrument a few decades old. The strangest detail about this set is that the tenor drone caps don’t match, but the rest of the drone tops appear to be from the same maker. With that said, I’ve played the pipes a few times over the past couple of months with no issues. The drones tune where they should, with a full and resonant sound. The set comes with a new medium Canmore bag, new Ezeedrone reeds, as well as the cover and cords in the photos.
A bit of an unusual set, but certainly very playable. I’ll cover shipping within Canada. Thanks!
