Liverpool Scottish kilt for sale; regimental pattern Forbes tartan and 22 oz. wool. Dated 1990, made by Hector Russell for an officer. Size indicated on inner apron tag. Excellent condition, no moth holes, no smells. Bought from a dealer in the UK but turned out a bit too small for me. I attached an extender to the strap (see pics) and will leave this on but it can be removed. This allowed me as a size 38 waist to wear this, but I’m 6′ 1″ and this kilt is made for a shorter man, say about Five Foot, Ten inches to Six Foot optimum and a size 31 to 34 waist would not need the strap extender. I only wore it a few times. Very scarce on the secondhand market, and this heavy military-grade tartan no longer easily available. Great item for a reenactor or collector especially; these kilts were worn in action at the St. Nazaire raid in 1942 by 5 Troop, 2nd Commandos, drawn from the Liverpool Scottish TA battalion of the Cameron Highlanders. Ships postpaid within the US only, I am concerned about tariff effects and overseas shipping costs elsewhere. I can accept PayPal.
