Full set of vintage Great Highland bagpipes, played extensively by a family member, and stored in a high quality case in a climate controlled house for the last 15 years. Based on our research, we believe these are vintage, 1960s era P. Henderson. The pipes are in very good condition with no visible cracks or damage to any part. The ferrules are nickel and the drone caps are imitation ivory. The pipes have a beautifully rich, full tone and the drones hold their tunings extremely well. They are made of African blackwood and tune easily. The original Henderson chanter was replaced with a Naill and the original blow stick was replaced with an Airstream. The bag was recently re-seasoned but may still need to be replaced due to the years of storage. Also included is a navy blue bag cover with red fringe and a fully lined, hard sided case in excellent condition. We would prefer local pick-up but would be willing to discuss shipping.
