I’ve made the decision to downsize my collection and I’m offering this vintage David Booth Great Highland Bagpipe to a new home.
This is a very nice sounding instrument with strong playing potential.
Condition & Details:
- Hide bag with good air retention However, I have not played or serviced this set in over 2 years and the bag could use some seasoning.
- Nice Dunbar Poly chanter included
- Small crack on the mid bass section, next to the ferrule (see photos). I purchased it that way and the person who I purchased it from told me that it had been treated / sealed. The crack is isolated to that one spot and does not go through. I’ve been playing it like that for years and it doesn’t affect the sound. Repair is stable and does not affect playability.
- Drone top caps, projecting mounts, and ferrules have cracks and chips (I bought it that way) but it doesn’t affect playability (please refer to photos)
