I am selling my set of Andreas Rogge uilleann practice pipes in D. The chanter is polyacetal. I acquired them new directly from Andrea’s in 2008 or 2009, I don’t recall exactly. I replaced the bag with a hide bag made be Xavier Boderiou in 2023 due to a leak developing in the original bag. The set comes with three chanter reeds purchased at the same time.
I have played them very little since 2024, which is why I am selling. I have realized that I don’t have the time I need to dedicate to practice in order to play them at the level I want to. I am instead focusing on my other instruments. I can provide a video of me playing them poorly if you are interested.
I would prefer a local sale, but I can also ship. I would encourage anyone interested to see/play in person first, or consult with a trusted teacher or player if you are a beginner.
