Time to let this one go…
Vintage 1915 Starck Great Highland Bagpipe with Dunbar Poly Chanter, Poly chanter shut-off valve / stock, poly blowpipe, new bannatyne synthetic bag, and vintage leather case.
The original tops and ferrules were replaced with arvorin some years ago.
It has had a few repairs done over the years ( fine cracks, chips, ferrule and top replacements, etc), but it is fully functional.
One of the arvorin ferrules is cracked ( see photo), but this doesn’t affect functionality.
It has a few chips, scratches, could have very fine cracks and these could be very hard to spot. Keep in mind it is approximately 111 years old….
I purchased this set years ago and it came with the leather case. The case is included, but it is in bad condition, the stitching on the hinge has given out and it’s currently held by tape.
