I’m selling my original set of David Booth DB2 Great Highland bagpipes, made in 1998. These were my primary pipes for approximately 25 years before I replaced them.
The middle joint of the bass drone developed a recurring crack, which has since been professionally repaired by Derek Marr of The Bagpipe Refurb Co.
These are well-used, quality blackwood pipes with a long playing history. They could make an excellent first set for a learner or an affordable backup instrument for a more experienced piper.
I’m happy to provide detailed photographs, including close-ups of the repaired joint, and to answer questions about the pipes’ condition and history.
