Very slight bowing which does not affect performance, visible on close inspection of second photo. Snugly inserting a reed in this chanter will pitch low A at about 468 Hz. Reed seat is 7mm in diameter vs. most contemporary chanters at 8mm, so hemp can be removed or the reed seat can be reamed a little to let reeds be seated deeper and bring up the pitch, if desired.
