Selling this lovely stand of Lawrie drones and stocks. I was told they were made in 1960, but I can’t verify that.
I’ve played them set up in modern pitch with no problems using Selbies, Ezee, and cane reeds. I then turned them into a dedicated Bb set using a Hardie Bb chanter and Canning high pitch reeds.
They are in beautiful shape, straight bores, and no damage. The iconic Lawrie tapered ferrules are in excellent condition also. I had the catalin projecting mounts replaced with ABW by David L. Lindsey (Castle Bagpipes) and left the caps and bushes original.
