These are 1953 Lorries in excellent condition. I purchased these through McPhees (Wellington Retailer) in the early 2000’s. They had been purchased new by a lady in 1953 who played them once then put them under her bed never to be touched again until I purchased them.
They come with a hide bag (will need dressing), two chanters, the bag cover, cords, two sets of reeds, several chanter reeds and an aluminium pipe case which is also in great condition (along with the original pipe case which is also in excellent condition). Ivory is imitation.
They were a really nice set to play but I no longer play. They are in as new condition and would be a great set for someone looking for their first set of bagpipes.
