This Robertson bagpipe was hand turned in Edinburgh when George Kilgour was the shop foreman. The set is in overall excellent condition. No cracks in the blackwood, the casein mounts have a vintage patina and are in solid condition. All sections have correct Robertson profiles. The drone tone is typical Robertson, robust and steady. Pipes are sold as sticks and stocks with the original Blackwood Robertson pipe chanter with casein sole.
