Beautiful set of David Naill bagpipes, hallmarked DN&Co, London, 1991. Ferrules, slides, caps, mouthpiece and chanter band are 0.925 sterling silver engraved with a custom maple leaf pattern by Truehand. A few scratches in the combing and chips to the imitation ivory (on two mounts) but certainly nothing beyond what would be expected. Timber is very well maintained – straight bores and zero cracks. These are exceptionally steady pipes; bright harmonics and a seamless blend between the drones and chanter.
