1950’s Robertson pipes

Lovely 1950’s Robertson Pipes. Flat-combed, blackwood drones with button mounts, casein tops, and nickel ferrules from the post-war period.  Straight, and brought back to restored playing condition by Burley Bagpipe Co. in Penticton, BC.  New delrin stocks for the chanter and blowpipe, and a delrin big-bore blowpipe, so these will be ready to play without moisture or cracking worries.  This is a classic service pipe; robust, balanced, well-blended and rich drone sound that this maker is famous for, and very light on the shoulder compared to the drones with monster mounts made during that era.
