This classic set of Hardie bagpipes might have come out of time capsule dated 1960. The drones have that signature Hardie tone with a prominent, yet warm bass that blends perfectly with the tenors. The original chanter with an ivory sole is included. I’ve been playing these in Bb with the original chanter and a chanter reed made by Chris Apps. The synthetic drone reeds are made by Ackland. The bag is Bannatyne’s Willie McCallum synthetic model with bottle water trap. Black corduroy bagcover and MacKenzie silk drone cords included. I am willing to sell with this set up or sticks only.
