This is an exceptional set by Allan G. Stark. Allan was a turner for J&R Glen in 1914 before going to France in WWI. After the war he went back to work for Glen until WWII. He set up his own business in 1947 and made exceptional bagpipes. A downturn in the economy saw a move to Australia where he taught bagpipes until his death in 1963. This set is typical of his work. Everything is perfect. If you’re looking for something uncommon and special, look no further. This set is absolutely a head-turner in every way.
The cocus wood is straight as an arrow and shows up under direct sunlight. Otherwise you might mistake it for ABW. Write me with questions, but don’t let this set slip away. I will put you in direct contact with the owner.
