This Jacket /vest has been sold
For auction is my size 46 Scottish Argyle Jacket and vest by Clan Crois. I purchased these new about 15 years ago. Made of 100% new Scottish serge wool and Scottish made. This is a very high quality jacket and vest that saw little use. It was in the neighborhood of $400.00 when I purchased it.
This is unlike almost every jacket on this website, this one was hand made in Scotland not in India or China. The wool alone would cost $450.00 today. For me this makes a difference.
This is a perfect jacket for a Scottish Musician in a pipe band for a formal dance or wedding occasion. The buttons are made of heavy metal and are silver colored (not gold as they appear) and all buttons match. The epaulets, pockets and cuffs are pleated.
The jacket is fully lined including the arms, the back of the jacket is is vented.
The jacket is in perfect condition. The vest has a very small hole on the front and a small light mark which may clean away.
