The pipes are in decent shape, with knicks and knocks commensurate with age(s) and just one chip in a tenor ring cap. A mixed set, but all the drone sections are African Blackwood and from top quality Scottish bagpipe makers. The drone reed goes well in the set, a big, bold dominant bass sound with harmonious tenors.
