An excellent starter set, or bad weather set, for the budget conscious piper. A fully combed and beaded set of blackwood bagpipes with imitation ferrules, projection mounts, ring caps and bushings. NOTE: This is a bit of a mixed set, hence the price.
The pipes are fully set up with a Canmore synthetic zippered pipe bag (Small), a new moose valve has been installed, a set of Wygent drone reeds, a Hardie blackwood pipe chanter, a Pettigrew polypenco pipe chanter, a Piper’s Choice zippered bag cover (New), matching drone cords, a Clanrye synthetic pipe chanter reed, cleaning brush, drone plugs, Bannatyne Bottle Water Trap (New), and a hard-sided pipe case. The drones are steady and lock in at 476Hz on the hemp lines.
I have also included two Highland Reeds adjustable drone valves for the tenors, although they seem to balance fine with the Wygent reeds without having to adjust them.
The practice chanter is an R.G. Hardie, and a copy of The College of Piping Tutor Part One and Scots Guards Standard Settings of Pipe Music Volume I is included.
Everything you need to hit ground marching! I prefer to sell locally, as the pipes can be inspected and tested before purchase, but would consider shipping at buyer’s expense.
