Black Diamond Highland bagpipe bass drone reed. Warm tone and durable. Easily adjustable. Carbon fibre tongue, synthetic body.
Consistent strike in, no rasping or double toning once set. Economical with air. Individually tested upon assembly (that’s a fact), in my 1940’s Sinclair’s. Just under the hemp on the top slide and 2 – 2.5 fingers on the bottom slide, with only a fraction of an inch tuning alteration over more than 20 reeds.
