Hi fellow musicians I now have for sale a circa 1930s Lawrie bagpipe (full ivory mounts 2400 Cdn plus shipping and insurance.. This set is left over from an old pipe band and is made up from two sets, the other parts having gone missing or were broken beyond repair, hence the low sale price for ivory mounted bagpipes of this age. The drones have the classic mellow Lawrie sound and are very light. The bass mid section has had a pin replacement by Dunbar bagpipe 2 of the stocks have hairline cracks which do not go all the way through and stocks are airi tight at present.
