This basic R.G. Hardie set is flat-combed and has nickel ferrules and imitation ivory ring caps and projecting mounts. It is in excellent shape with the exception of the bottom bass joint, which has a slight warp. This defect does not seem to affect the tone or steadiness.
The pipes are very typical Hardie: reliable, easy to reed, steady, and fairly subdued.
