A 1950’s era set of R.G. Lawrie Bagpipes. The pipes are made of African Blackwood and are fully combed and beaded with classic Lawrie ferrules. The projection mounts and ring caps are a made of a phenolic material that has retained its original patina and resisted chipping, the bushings are Catalin. The pipes are in good shape with just a few nicks which would be consistent with their age and use. The blowpipe is a Dunbar poly replacement with the original projection mount used. Included is a period Lawrie practice chanter and a McCallum Blackwood pipe chanter. A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is included in the sale along with with free North American shipping.
