This set was purchased in August 2014 and I picked it up from Murry’s workshop on my way to my son’s wedding. Murry Huggins is a very skilled craftsman and turns out a superb instrument patterned after vintage 1908 Henderson bagpipes (https://ckpipes.com/highland-bagpipes). The mounts and blowpipe bulb are moose horn made from moose horn sheds that he purchased. The metal work on this is German silver and not full silver. Murry makes each piece from flat stock forming and hand engraving each piece.
I purchased these as my competition set of pipes. I played these regularly up to a couple years ago. They have been carefully maintained and are in pristine condition. It pains me to sell these but it is time to let them go. The set comes with a Willie McCallum Bannatyne hybrid bag. I will also send along a Piper’s Hut pipebag. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance.
