Duncan Soutar bagpipes – from about 2005 – ABW with imitation projecting mounts & steel ferrules. Included is a complete set-up:
- McCallum bag – hybrid, zippered – about 3 years old – very good shape
- New Ross dryer kit (1 red box with 4 hoses & extra drying agent)
- Shepherd Mk 3 bagpipe chanter + new G1 platinum reed + reed protector
- Dark green bag cover + cords and tassels
- Canning ‘blue’ drone reeds
Pipes produce a solid sound that lock-in very quickly. Being sold on behalf of a young piper in the band that received a new set for Christmas. There are 3 small repairs to the projecting mounts. Chanter plays at about 476/478 – depending on the reed. The low A has been adjusted to bring it into tune.
