For sale is my David Quinn 1/2 set of Uilleann Pipes in D. They are made of ebony with boxwood/brass mounts. A couple of months ago I sent these pipes to Benedict Kohler who made new reeds for the chanter/drones. He also fitted a new Michael Macharg pipe bag and made other adjustments to the pipes. The chanter has a stop key and C natural key and a wooden top. Benedict dated these pipes to be made in the mid 1980’s. Also included is a hard case. The reason for the sale is that I have two sets of Uilleann Pipes in D. These are a wide bore set my other is a narrow bore set. They both sound fantastic but I’ve decided to keep the narrow bore set. If you have questions about these pipes please leave a message.
