These drone reed extenders correct the problem of the reeds tuning too high on the pin for you.
They are fitted in the reed seat and the drone reeds then go into them which allows for slightly lower pitching of your drone reeds if this is an issue for you. Also helpful for pipers who play the 446 B flat or 440A pipe chanter.
